MPF2025: THE PODCASTS

Podcasts have been so well received at MPF in the past few years that we’ve had to move them to a bigger room! At MPF2025, you can go watch the live podcasts upstairs at The Salutation, next door to The Union. These are the podcasts that we’ve got lined up for you at MPF2025:

Weirdo Live

Weirdo Live is a podcast produced by WEIRDO Zine & Collective, where they interview South Asian creatives and change-makers in the alternative scene to document and celebrate their work, inspiring the next generation. Join WEIRDO Collective member Tabzy for a panel-type interview with some MPF performers, where they discuss growing up desi and punk, as well as inclusivity within the scene.

Pretty On The Inside

Pretty On The Inside is back at MPF for the second time! Your favourite lo-fi podcast about women in the DIY scene and the history of women in music during the explosion of punk, grunge, Britpop and beyond. Let’s hang out again!

Mid Life Punk Podcast

MLPP is now in its 5th year. Even though the pandemic’s over, Tom and Niallism’s lockdown boredom project continues in earnest. They’re still chatting rubbish to bands from around the world every week, still trying to navigate the halfway point of existence whilst still trying to be a punk, and they’re still not taking themselves seriously. They’re going for a brand new quiz format that you’ve DEFINITELY never seen before. It’s time for Bastardmind.

Vandal Factory

Fuelled by anger and hope, Vandal Factory is a podcast where art meets activism! Co-hosts Natalie and Henry bring passion, humour and heart alongside special guest rebel-rouser Millie Manders. This live recording will fuel your fire!

Punk Rock Elite

Punk Rock Elite is the world’s only podcast about NOFX; it’s gained over 20,000 downloads worldwide! It’s hosted by comedians Red Redmond and Eddie French, who recently celebrated their 100th episode with a special guest interview from NOFX’s drummer, Smelly. Now that NOFX have ridden into the sunset what’s next for Punk Rock Elite? Pop down to The Salutation to find out.

Punks in Pubs

Punks in Pubs Podcast is bringing conversation, chaos, and a mic to MPF2025! This year, they will be turning their attention to disability in the music scene, from access at venues to disabled representation on stage and in the crowd. They’ll be talking about what the punk community is getting right and where it needs to do better, come down and be part of an honest conversation, stories of activism and life on the fringes… with a few beers along the way.
