MPF2026: THANK YOU!

#mpf2026 is a wrap. What a weekend that was! After starting in 2015, we are honestly lost for words at how each year seems to get better and better. But here’s some words anyway…

This year saw so many all-time highlights, artists like Laura Jane Grace, Strike Anywhere, The Rebel Riot, Tomar Control, Riskee & The Ridicule, The Iron Roses, all bringing such emotional and important performances isn’t something we’re ever going to forget.

The magnitude of what this festival has become is not lost on us. Nothing prepares us for the sheer joy on your faces as you’re losing your minds to bands at our festival. It takes everyone (EVERYONE!) to build something as special as MPF, it’s an honour to live in our little punk rock bubble for a few days with you.

There are SO many people to thank. First up, thank you to our partners who enable us to have the time and space to run MPF. Without their patience and understanding of this out of control hobby, none of this would be possible. A massive shout out to the team of volunteers and stage managers for their never-ending professionalism and ability to keep things flowing perfectly over the weekend. Whether it was someone putting your wristband on, selling a t-shirt, checking a wristband or keeping bands on time, those people keep this festival moving. Thank you.

Thank you to every single band that put the effort into give all-timer performances. Thank you to all the venue staff and security for being a pleasure to deal with. Thank you to the Poets and Comedians for delivering a great year again. A big thank you to everyone else that contributed to such a heartwarming weekend, whether that was setting up an info stall, allowing you to get creative at Sandbar, designing some merch, teaching you to juggle at Yes, hosting a podcast, or the Youth Anthems crew inspiring the next generation. We appreciate every single one of you!

Also, the photographers and filmmakers went above and beyond as always. Does any of it really happen without them documenting it all for us? Keep an eye on our socials, and YouTube, we have loads of amazing photos and videos heading your way to help you reminisce.

We’re blown away at how many tickets we’ve already sold for MPF2027. As promised, the cheapest tickets were on sale over the weekend specifically to reward everyone at the festival. We’re now onto Early Bird tickets, which are only available in April! If you buy one on an Instalments Plan today, that’s only £10.45 a month until February! Get involved – https://bit.ly/MPF2027

We heavily, heavily rely on word of mouth to sell tickets, to spread the word of Manchester Punk Festival and to get on the radar of bands that belong on our line-ups. Please continue sharing the good word of this Easter punk rock weekend, tag your favourite bands and tell them that they should do what Dead To Me, Strike Anywhere, Lightyear, Laura Jane Grace and others have done – and come to Manchester Punk Festival.

Finally, we also want to improve MPF. Each year we ask for your feedback on the weekend so we know what you think went well and the areas where we can do better. Hopefully you’ve seen us act on your ideas. The MPF2026 feedback survey is now live. As a thank you, we’ll give two tickets to one person that fills it in. Head here – https://bit.ly/MPF2026Feedback

We can’t wait to see you next year. Let’s carry on being mint together
