WELCOME TO MPF2026
IT’S TIME FOR MPF2026!
Not feeling fully prepped yet? Don’t worry, this guide has everything you need to make the most of your weekend. If you’ve attended Manchester Punk Festival before then everything will feel familiar, but there are a few small updates so it’s well worth a read.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone coming along to be part of it. MPF is all about great music, good people, and unforgettable moments. So dive in, discover new bands, reconnect with old friends, and make some new ones along the way. Let’s go!
Don’t worry if you don’t have an MPF2026 ticket yet, we still have a few left here.
Here is everything you need to know about MPF2026:
WRISTBANDS
You can collect your wristbands from The Union each day from 12pm to 10pm. Your ticket is the QR code in your confirmation email. Please bring this with you and we always advise bringing some sort of ID with you just in case of any issue even if we don’t foresee any. It is worth saving the QR code before you join the queue incase the internet fails you.
Don’t stress at us, don’t panic if you have a problem, we will help with any issue but that may require some patience and understanding. There will be a queue, you may have to wait in line, just please bear with us.
BAGS AT THE UNION
The bag policy has been updated at The Union. All bags will be securely checked upon entry and all bags larger than A4 will need to placed in the venue’s cloakroom (£2 per item). You can find a full list of prohibited items here. Suitcases will also not be permitted inside the venue so please check in at your hotel before you collect your wristband!
TICKET RESALES
See Tickets offers an ethical and convenient way to re-sell tickets, enabling fans to buy and sell spare tickets, safely and securely, capped at a fair price. Find out more here.
ACCESSIBILITY
Each year we aim to improve the experience at MPF for people with those with accessibility needs. We have attempted to make improvements with more accessible venues and a single point of contact (John Porter at accessibility@manchesterpunkfestival.co.uk) for information on accessibility at the festival. Find out more on accessibility at MPF here.
FESTIVAL APP
We have an app you can download again this year. It can contains the full schedules along with plenty of other features. It can be accessed by downloading the app WOOV on your smartphone and adding our event. Share some photos on it, arrange some meet ups, get busy and make the most of your weekend.
Download HERE.
CLASHFINDER
You can also stay up to date with timings via the Clashfinder website. Search for us on there and you’ll see the full listings. We would advise staying up to date with this or the app each day in case of any last minute band changes.
Check out the Clashfinder HERE.
PROGRAMME
As always we provide a free programme for all attendees. Pick yours up on the way in at The Union. We will also keep some at the official merch table.
View the programme online HERE.
MERCH
Merch sales are a huge help to us and the bands so grab something if you can afford to. Official MPF merch will be located at The Union. Band merch will be situated around the venues that they are playing so keep an eye out.
THE SALUTATION
The Salutation returns with podcasts, poetry and comedy . You’ll find The Salutation pub right next door to The Union. The stage is upstairs which can be found around the back of the pub – where you’ll also find food for sale.
SANDBAR
We love Sandbar. It is an amazing place to hang out at MPF. With podcasts, comedy and poetry moving to The Salutation, we’ve added more activities at Sandbar. We have ‘Go Mug Yourself’, ‘Cartoons from the Pit Drawing Workshop’, ‘Slurpfest Coffee Pop-up’ and ‘Gigs and Fests Craft Beer Exchange’.
DISCOUNTS
As with every year, we want to ensure that your MPF ticket is as much value for money as possible. Apart from the 120+ bands, 9 afterparties and 7 stages, we also team up with a number of local businesses to get you discount when you show your festival wristband.
Idle Hands CoffeeHouse, Gorilla, Sandbar, Fell Brewing, Track Brewing Co., North Taproom: Circle Square, Sureshot Brewing, and Bundobust

INFO STALLS
We were so excited to introduce some info stalls in 2024, and they were an even greater success than we’d hoped! It was great to see so many people dropping in, browsing, and discussing some important and worthy causes. They will be setting up at Flour & Flagon (next to Bread Shed) from 2pm until 6pm.
Go check out No Sweat, Stand Up To Racism, Manchester Hunt Sabs, and Tiny Paws MCR.
SIGNATURE BREW
Each year we team up with our friends at Signature Brew to provide a nice festival beer. This year keep your eye peeled for ‘Change Is An IPA‘ on tap in the venues. Give that and other Signature Brew beers a try at each venue, you won’t be disappointed! This year’s beer is being launched at 4pm on Thursday at the North Brewing Tap Room in Circle Square.
MPF WARM-UP
Rebellion is the home of one side of our after parties all weekend. We are also hosting the warm up gig there on Thursday night. 5 amazing bands to kick off your weekend.
Grab your ticket HERE.
VENUE CAPACITY
Venues will get full. We cannot guarantee your admission to see every band due to the limited capacity at each venue. To minimise the risk of missing a set, please ensure you get to the stage early to avoid disappointment.
BOOTH CENTRE
We want MPF to have a positive impact on the world outside of punk, particular within our own city. With so many people gathering in one place we feel that MPF is a great opportunity to support people who are less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you so much to everyone that bought a charity ticket to help raise money for the Booth Centre!
The Booth Centre is an organisation trying to bring about positive change in the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and help them plan for and realise a better future. If you want to donate or read more about them, you can do HERE
SOBER SOCIAL
The Sober Social returns to Manchester Punk Festival in 2026! Anyone attending the festival can join us at Sandbar on Saturday between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
Our aim is to provide a welcome space for anyone who’s sober, sober-curious, or anyone who feels like they’ve gone a bit hard on the first night. Drop in for a coffee or a pizza and meet some new friends.
THERE ARE STILL LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE.
Please respect the venues and each other.
That’s it from us, see you around this weekend ❤️
