MPF2025: THE AFTERPARTY
Everybody wants to get famous. But we’re just going to dance in a basement at MPF. Pace yourself because the party truly starts after the headliners. You have three MPF2025 afterparty venues to choose from: Bread Shed, YES, and Rebellion.
Last week we announced all the cover bands playing each night at Rebellion. You catch-up on all the fun here. Today we will run through the carnage that will take place at YES and Bread Shed.
MPF2025 Afterparties at Bread Shed
Friday will feature sets from the old-timers Raw Poo and queer banjo violence trio ALLDEEPENDS. Then, prepare to gag at the realness of Snatch Game, the world’s premier (and only) punk rock Ru Paul cover band, who will be hosting a late-night party. Prepare to lipsync for your life, hunty.
Saturday night at Bread Shed is a special deal for us. We’re hosting a P-Rock party with Bleach Brain, Stank Finger and WYRES (ex-Failsafe). If the channel influenced you as much as it did us, come and be a part of that early 00s spirit living on.
Sunday night kicks off with Anti-Everything who have literally travelled from the Caribbean to play this event. Please go and show them a good time. Our friends in Burnt Tapes and brand new Minimal Faff will see out the live sets before the Pop Party For Punks kicks off so you can finish the weekend off floating around!
MPF2025 Afterparties at YES
The after parties we held at Zombie Shack will now be in the YES Basement. They’ve become synonymous with heavy tunes and/or unmissable sets so we’re starting right there on Friday, kicking off with Italian outfit Carne before we get in to some local mosh with the wonderful Victim Unit and Feign.
On Saturday we are slightly less screamy but we imagine the pit will be equally wild for French fast punks Short Days who will be on the road with Jodie Faster. Our Dutch mates, Batwölf will bring the punk n roll, before closing with the raging feminist punk of Helle.
Sunday sees us return to the usual sound with the outrageously good Jawless and Wreaking Joy before closing off with the ultimate after party band Deadwax, who blend hip hop and punk effortlessly. Another three bands you aren’t gonna want to miss.
