MPF2025

Manchester Punk Festival will be taking place across Easter weekend, 18-20 April 2025.

We’ll have over 140 acts playing across our 7 venues. Super Early are SOLD OUT and Early Bird tickets are running low, so act quick on getting yours.

How we do what we do

MPF is what happens when you sit three different promoters in a pub to discuss starting something where the bands we know and love can play to new people who would appreciate them exactly the same as those who’ve supported them this far. We want to provide an environment where people want to watch bands they’ve never heard of alongside bands they love, and an environment for bands to play in front of their best friends and complete strangers.

We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves at MPF, we take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination. Be good to each other, enjoy the festival and thanks so much for being a part of it. As some guy called Joe once said “without people, we’re nothing.”

We are inundated with requests to play MPF which, although flattering, means we can’t reply to everybody. We all run this festival in our spare time so feel free to drop a message, but please don’t be offended if we don’t get back to you. The roster of bands we work with is built from the ground up. If your band is active, gigging, and contributing to, the UK DIY punk rock community then we’ll know of you sooner or later!

We work with loads of great designers each year. Here is who we’ve worked with for MPF2025.

Venues

These are the venues that we used for MPF2025. All our venues are within walking distance of each other and play a great part in the live music scene in Manchester.

The running order for all stages is subject to change. Please check the running times posted at each stage on the day for the actual slot times. Although, we will try to stick to the published times and tell people though Twitter and Facebook of any changes.

Each stage has a set capacity. Once this is reached we will not be able to let anyone else in. This is particularly important for the more popular bands on the line-up. Please make sure you arrive early to the stage to ensure you get access.

The Union

The Union is home of our main stage for MPF2025. Wristband Exchange is also at The Union, it'll be your first stop. Alongside loads of awesome bands you will also be able to pick up merchandise and visit the record store.

Accessibility: The whole venue is on the ground floor, with all rooms accessible. Please speak to the wristband exchange about access to the balcony if your view is restricted.

Accessibility: There is step-free access to the venue with a viewing area to the side of the stage. Due to ongoing issues with emergency Network Rail repairs, the corridor to the toilets is currently at a reduced width (71cm). The venue is working on resolving this issue. There is a lot of seating towards the back of Rebellion although with a poor view of the stage and up a couple of steps.

Accessibility

Manchester Punk Festival is organised across several city centre venues. We are aware that two of our venues do not provide full accessibility, especially for those people who may struggle to use stairs. Unfortunately, the viable venues available to us in the centre of Manchester limit our options. Every year we look to using newer venues with increased accessibility to make MPF more comfortable and welcoming for all. Although we continue to reassess and consider how to make the festival more accessible to all people in the future, we recognise that having access to just some of the performances would be restrictive and disappointing.

Because of this, we would like to offer a discounted ticket to people who will experience some restrictions due to accessibility issues. To enquire about a discounted ticket, or if you have any questions about access at any of the venues, please message the facebook page or email info [@] tnsrecords.co.uk

Please get in touch if you require any additional venue accessibility information.
