MPF2025: SANDBAR

We love Sandbar. It is an amazing place to hangout at MPF. Their pizzas are amazing, the beer selection outstanding, and you can relax in the sun outside.

With podcasts, comedy, and poetry moving to The Salutation (the pub next door to The Union) to enjoy a bit more space, we have some great set of MPF of activities at Sandbar to keep one of our favourite pubs involved in MPF2025.

Sober Social

The ever popular sober social returns, giving you the opportunity to make some new friends and try the best non-alcoholic beers on offer. This year the Sober Social is hosted by our long-term mates, and all-round good guys, Jake and Colin (from Colin’s Punk Rock World).

Don’t Mug Yourself

‘Don’t Mug Yourself’ will be offering the opportunity to put your ugly mug on a mug, a sweary slogan to passive-aggressively sip from in the office, or a tribute to your four-legged best mate – they’ve got you covered (in clay). 

MPF2025 Running Club

Do you fancy stretching your legs during MPF? If you want to join some like minded runners for a gentle jog on Saturday then head to Sandbar for midday. You’ll then be back at the pub for refreshments at the Sober Social.

Slurp Fest

Our friends at Slurp Fest will be telling you all about Manchester’s most exciting coffee event, with some samples and merch available.

Gigs and Fests Craft Beer Exchange

All round top bloke Christian Reed, from Gigs and Fests, will be running our first Craft Beer Exchange. Bring along a four pack from your favourite local brewery and take home four different cans. You might find your new favourite beer.
